Gio smiled easily as Glory admitted she was also powerless, and sounded like she thought that was a good thing to boot. If she had told him she did have powers he wouldn't have been altogether surprised, but that Glory was like him just felt good. He liked having things in common with her, even if it meant they weren't special.
"Yeah, you could probably tell if you had a power," Gio mused. It wasn't out of the realm of possibility that powers couldn't manifest in he and Glory in time, but since he had no idea how Calvin, Katie or Sasha had gotten theirs he couldn't say if they had been exposed to whatever the cause was.
"I think it's a relief, too. Or maybe it's just that I'm glad I don't have to deal with something potentially dangerous. One of the people I know hurt herself because of her power, and someone else – well, his power is causing him a lot of grief." A frown tugged at the corners of his mouth as he thought about Calvin. Gio hadn't spoken to him at length in a while (a short while, but a while nonetheless), and he wondered how he was doing.
