Part of him almost couldn't believe that was what Glory had been talking about, but apparently she had been exposed to strange things just as he had. Even in fiction, super powers were supposed to be rare, but they were turning up just about everywhere Gio turned.
All that information did was make his expression grow darker, and he studied Glory's face at length to make sure he didn't see a flicker of a smile or any other indication that meant she might be pulling his leg. Even though Sasha had showed him her magnetic prowess and Calvin had proved his precognition, Gio still sometimes was more convinced it all was some elaborate joke. That made more sense than it being real, right?
