Honestly, Glory wasn't judging him at all. She was just used to her own house, where the punishment for not cleaning up after yourself was rather steep. On an intellectual level, she was pretty sure that it didn't have to be like that at every house, but the impulse was still very hard to fight, even when she wasn't at home.
She had to fight back a wince at the expression on his face - how could he possibly not think she was a nutcase? - but her jaw dropped when she heard his response, the light tone doing little to conceal the force of the words. "Well... um..." she wasn't exactly sure what to say now, and her eyes flicked nervously between Gio's face and the pavement. "You've... seen it happen too?" she asked, her voice low as she spoke.
Even though it had been her idea to keep Luke and Mao's powers a secret, the revelation that her own sister had an ability had kicked her imagination into overdrive. And now Gio was saying that he knew people who could do strange things too? None of this made any sense!
