"You can just tell..." Glory repeated, frowning a little. It sounded... strange. Implausible. She supposed that comparing his fish to a cat or a dog would almost work, except that fish weren't cats or dogs. Gio was wonderfully empathetic, but she highly doubted that anyone was quite on the same wavelength as a fish. Still, she didn't directly question him, choosing instead to focus on the movie. There were a lot of annoyingly unexplainable things that had been happening lately, so Glory would just have to process this one later. "Okay."
After a few moments of deliberation, Glory drifted over to her friend and sat down next to him, leaving a bit of space between them so he (and to some extent, she) could feel comfortable. She ate her ice cream in dainty little bites (to prevent spilling) as the show began, but despite the interest it held for her, her eyes kept being tugged one of two places over its course. One of these places was the fish tank and the other was Gio. She kind of liked watching him, liked the little smile he got on his face when they reached a bit that he found particularly interesting. It was cute. Of course, she always had to be sure to look away before he noticed her looking. Staring.
