Josie felt a little better when Luke hugged her back. When he pulled her over to her bed she was a little worried that maybe he was going to "make her forget" which she really didn't want that night, crying and thinking about one's brother isn't the best way to set the mood. But all he did was continue to hold her and she felt her sorrow melting away with every stroke he made through her hair.
"I know that Luke, if things stayed the same you and I definitely wouldn't be...whatever we are," Josie still wasn't really sure how to define what she had with Luke. Sure "fuck buddies" was a good definitions, but she was pretty sure fuck buddies didn't give gifts or offer to hold you when you cry. So she guessed there were something a little more than fuck buddies now...but she wasn't sure if there was a proper term for that. "I know we're different people, we've been different people for a while, but we've always managed to find a good balance. I hope so Luke, I mean he's my brother, I feel like a part of me is missing." She snuggled deeper into his shoulder, "Mmm, you smell nice. New cologne?"
