Mari snorted at his quote and then nodded. "Yep. I have the exact same problem with my sister. Except I'm the one that trips and falls when I walk into her room. She's the lucky one who was born with perfect balance or something." She shrugged. Cheerleading had helped Mari with her balance a bit, but she still had an inner ear problem or something. Whatever. She had no idea.
She watched with a grin as he plopped down on his bed and did the same, getting comfortable as he began the movie. "What are you talking about good sport? You make it sound like watching a movie with my best friend is something off-putting." She shook her head and accepted the tissues, plucking out about a dozen. She was excessive in just about every way. "All right," she said, faking a sniffle, "I'm ready. Bring it!"
