Who: Jacen Allen and Annie Tibbits. What: One of the Tibbits sisters comes to see him. Which one is it though? Where: The Allen residence. When: July 12th. Rating: PG-13 for Jacen's mouth eventually maybe. XD
Hum drum. Hum drum. Hum drum.
Those were what the days were like for Jacen Allen. He didn't know who this Songbird person was or what sort of life-wrecking wench or warlock they pretended to be, but they had surely done one hell of a job getting him down in the dumps. Even if the gossip wasn't true, it still set in motion a chain of events that led to Jacen practically spilling the contents of his heart to the one girl he had ever really loved. And now, he was completely and totally empty inside. Because the gossip had to be true. Lexie sure hadn't denied it.
Jacen sighed and flipped the channel with the remote control. He had memorized the TV guide for the next four hours for every single channel, and everything pretty much sucked. He would have popped in one of his Dune DVDs, but he had memorized those too. Not that he was planning on taking some sort of pop quiz on them or anything, but he just wasn't in the mood to watch something he had seen a hundred and thirty-nine times already. As much as he loved Dune, there was only so much one person with super enhanced memory could take.
It was before his twelfth go around flipping channels when he heard the door bell ring. He rolled his eyes, half considering just running upstairs and hiding out from whatever guest the Allen's were entertaining tonight. Instead though, he fought against his better judgment and stood up, going over to the door. What he saw through the peephole though was completely unexpected. "Lexie?" He pulled open the door, looking over the girl standing there. It seemed completely impossible, but there she was in the flesh. Lexie Tibbits was standing in his door frame. Jacen could have died on the spot.
