Eli watched carefully as the glass fell through its trajectory, catching Sebastian's hand move out of the corner of his eye as it fell. Its brief slowing down before Sebastian caught it was easy to miss, but although Eli's eyes were old, they were still sharp, and they were finely tuned to motion. "Good reflexes, young man," Eli commented, smiling a strange, knowing and self-satisfied smile at him. "I can do it, Sebastian. You go out and dig up what you can about this history of this town. I would be interested to see what you find." Not to mention what he'd publish.
