Who: Mao and Luke. What: Mao is fed up with waiting for Luke to get over himself. Where: Elmwood Rocks. When: Friday night. (Posted early!) Rating: Strong language. F-bombs ahoy!
He was sick of it. Sick of just standing by, passively waiting, like a girl, for Lukas to come to him. This wasn't the fucking 50s, and he wasn't a fucking girl, so what the fuck was he doing? When it occurred to Mao that he was also a man, and therefore he could take the initiative and wear the pants in whatever kind of relationship the two of them had going on, he felt fired up. What gave Lukas the right to have the control over everything? Nothing! That's what! After a while of these sentiments stewing in his head, Mao came to the decision that he was going to find out what was going on once and for all. He'd corner Luke and make him talk, otherwise things would just keep on going nowhere, and he'd be stuck pining over the asshole like a loser all summer.
School didn't seem like the best place for it. If there were witnesses around to spread more rumors, Luke would never talk. He'd just flash that bitchy face of his and stalk off or something. Eventually, a plan hatched in Mao's mind. He'd wait for Luke at his job and catch him off guard. Friday came around, Mao knew Lukas'd be at the Rocks, the kid was working a lot lately. He walked there after dinner, full of determination. Luck was on his side, he spotted Luke's bicycle right away on the bike rack. Perfect, Luke wouldn't be able to just jump into a car and drive off. And on the subject of driving off...a light bulb went off in Mao's head. A second later he was yanking off the bike's chain, an unpleasant smirk on his face. Nope, Lukas wasn't going leaving him behind tonight, that was for sure.
With his dirty work done, Mao leaned against the rack, arms folded over his chest, and waited. He might have pumped himself up into being raring for a confrontation, but his heart still began to beat rapidly in his chest the later it got. He was nervous, but he couldn't turn back now. This had to be done. It had to be.
