Sneaks (open to Bart and Andi)
Who: Andi, Bart, and Magnar Where: X-Jet hangar! When: Tuesday What: A precursor to the upcoming Savage Land saga!
Magnar hadn't meant to eavesdrop. Honest. He'd been on his way to Wes and Ryan's room to very reluctantly talk to them about what he'd spoken to Dane about a few days ago. He'd heard somewhere that the wise man seeks the counsel of many, so he hoped that between his three cousins, he might get at least one good idea about how to woo the girl he was interested in.
He'd been walking down the hallway, practicing his levitation, which indoors didn't do much more than get him on the very top of the carpet, able to walk without being heard at all. He was just about at their door, which was ajar when he heard their voices. He paused at the door, listening. And was very surprised by all he'd heard! Magnar stood there for about ten minutes, hearing all about the X-Men's upcoming trip to the Savage Land. They'd be going to one of his grandfather's bases. For some reason it was up and running again. And this was a mystery Magnar could not pass up. He quietly departed from their doorway, not bothering to seek them out anymore. He had preparations to make. Magnar was going to the Savage Land.
Magnar got up early on Tuesday morning, slipping out of the room without waking Benjy, Mutt on his heels. He walked down the hall, out of the dormitory and into the other building, stopping when he got to the door leading to the 'restricted access' area where the X-Jet hangar was. Magnar crouched down beside Mutt, whispering his instructions. "The other side of this door, Mutt. Real easy, right?" And an instant later, his surroundings changed. He was now in the hallway leading to the hangar. "You better get out of here, Mutt", Magnar told his wrinkly little teleporter. "Don't worry, I'll be back in a couple of days. Benjy'll take good care of you."
Once his puppy had departed, Magnar began to walk down the hallway. When he got to the end, he opened the door, walking into the vast, cavernous hangar that housed the X-Jet. He wasted no time starting to walk across the wide open space toward the jet. The staircase into the transport was lowered, so he knew he'd be able to easily get in and find a suitable place to stow himself away. "Too easy", he said to himself, smirking.
