Hello Savage World fans!

I hope you all liked the last episode, I can't believe that snake almost got a bite out of me. It's been awhile, let me tell you, but that's something you have to learn: nature will always find a way to surprise you. We've got a little break here, but there's some exciting places coming up, or so I'm told. It's better if I don't know.

Leave me some thoughts for upcoming ideas, and how you liked the Congo.

Be safe,
Peter Rasputin

VIDEO BLOG: THE ARM PROJECT (user: octavian) 01:43 am

[ The video is in HD and shows what seems to be someone's basement, rigged up in what seems to be the set of Dr. Horrible. There are wires hanging from the ceiling and a large table. The camera shakes a little while someone readjusts it. Finally, someone comes and sits in the frame; there's a flash of silver, but he moves too fast for it to be seen clearly. He's wearing heavy duty goggles on top of his head. He grins. ]

"Hi. So. I know a lot of you have been following my blog and that's awesome. I got the arms to move like you saw in last week's video, but truth is ... guys, I've been lying to you. I am way further ahead in my production than I let on. On the other hand, you'll be seeing a lot more of me in the papers. I'm... embracing my destiny, I guess. That means no more videos until I rig up my lair to mask my signal---shouldn't take too long, but I'll be busy and all. This video was gonna be a real short good bye and a thank you for everyone who watched and sent feedback and encouragement, but it didn't feel right to sign on and not show you the finished product."

[ Henry backs away from the camera. The arms he's been working on for the past few months---large and metallic---are holding themselves up, all four of them meeting on his back. They end in long claws, trailing down to a point, and they all move idly behind him, keeping the weight from settling all in one place. ]

"They work! Aren't they beautiful? It's all a little thanks to you---but mostly me, being the genius and all. Almost all me. That said, I've gotta run. I have a lair to move into." [ He reaches up, pulling the goggles down over his eyes. ] "Doc Ock is back in town!"

[ With that, a claw snakes toward the camera, snapping open and obscuring the lens with the built-in camera at its center before the feed cuts. ]

Article on the new Doc Ock is in the works. Offspring or copycat? Just had a long talk with his mother after the cops left. She's devastated.

I'm still doing my best to get a sit-down with Spider-Man, faithful readers. He's notoriously hard to get a hold of and prefers to jump off buildings rather than talk to reporters. Still no word on whether he's related to Original Recipe Spider-Man or just borrowing the mantel for a while. Lack of Papa Spider sighting says he's a copycat, but nothing is set in stone until I have it on record.

New sensei at the Zen center, and I somehow convinced him to take me on as a private student. Hopefully extra training will mean less Hulk Outs. Sensei Seto is nice, though. I've never had a blind Zen master before, and weirdly enough, he's the only Asian master in the place. This is New York, after all.
