Lily was terrified. Although if anyone asked her she'd deny it. Sure she knew Hogwarts was safe from attacks, but still...Hogsmeade...they had just been there. What would have happened had the attack happened on their visit. She couldn't shake that feeling. Also Dumbledore said James needed to tell her something...about Diagon Alley? What could he have to tell her, did something happen before the school year that she should know about? She didn't know. All she knew is that she was terrified and she wanted her boyfriend...Lily blushed at that thought...James was her boyfriend...well she supposed he was. But anyway, she wanted her boyfriend to hold her and assure her that everything was going to be okay.
She glanced up from the fire when she heart the portrait hole open and she saw him come in. He looked exhausted and he collapsed on the couch. When he mentioned he needed a glass of warm milk Lily grinned. She glanced at the coffee table where two glasses of hot cocoa were sitting. She knew they might need them. She picked one of the mugs up and extended it to James, "It's hot cocoa, I think it's close enough."
