ERNIE MACMILLAN: Ernie is 23, the town inspector, and pretty much one of the calmest people here. He tries to be fair though sometimes his loyalty can cloud his judgement. Still, I can count on one hand how many IC arguments he has since arriving a year ago so I'd say Peter is safe with this one. Ernie did wind up becoming friends with his roommate, Rabastan Lestrange, so he is willing to give people second chances if they want them. He talks about jogging a lot along with his puppies. Oh, and he found out a little detail he didn't bargain on --- he is not a MacMillan! His mother had an affair with Liam Connolly, which makes Ernie and Nathan Bradley half-brothers. Ernie is confused and hurt, especially since he held his parents' marriage as the reference point for what he wanted in his.
MIKE CORNER: Mike is 28 and a lawyer in real time. He has a fear of commitment because of his parents divorcing, which led him to dumping a fiancee he really loved. In the village, he learned he winds up marrying and having kids (not the fiancee he ran out on), which threw him for a loop. He acts like this big, cool partier, but he comes through in a pinch and has a soft spot for kids. He created a pizza parlor before the monsters attacked and now expanded into the food court business (more on that in a plot post once jobs are posted and done).
SALLY BONES: She is a Hufflepuff and a few years older than Peter in real time. She is married to Edgar Bones and is 29 here. She runs the candle shop. She is old-fashioned, but slowly starting to come around since being here for so long. She occasionally scolds for language and calls people "angel." She is very close to Lily and James (they named her godmother to baby Hope, who was born in game) so she is not fond of Peter.
DRACO MALFOY: Draco is hardest to explain to people who haven't seen everything with him. He arrived in the village at 17, fresh from the fire, on day one of FTS. He turned eighteen only a few weeks later. I played him at eighteen for the majority of the game. During that time, he battled demons through alcohol and potions until people in the village started reaching out. He started seeing a mental healer and went through a crapload of therapy before an age plot left him eleven for a week and THEN turned him 21. Because of that plot, he now has fuzzy memories of the real world up to age 21. He had a birthday then so he is 22. In game, he has really stepped up and proven himself so he has been accepted to the point that he is very close to several Weasleys as well as Colin Creevey. He still has moments where his anger/spoiled bratness comes out, but less and less as time goes on, especially now that he just started dating Fleur and wants to set a good example for his family (parents, children, grandchildren, Myrtle, etc). All that said, seeing Peter in his real world scared Draco because Draco thought he'd wind up just like him --- friendless, seemingly cowardly, and stuck with DEs who didn't think he measured up. That has always been hard for him in game with seeing Peter. That and, as hypocritical as it is, Draco is mad about what Peter did to the Potters since Lily and James have been good to him. So, complicated.
ANYWAY, hi and welcome. <3 I am up for plotting of course.
