"Don't fucking tempt me." Mateo's eyes snapped from the furious face in front of him and to the man who had butted into their argument. He must have looked angrier than he thought because the man shrunk back even more. He had already been on the verge of cowering, face pale at the the clear threat in the woman's face, but he took a full step back at the flames practically shooting from Mateo's eyes. For a brief moment he entertained the thought of reaching out and grabbing the employee around the neck and giving him a few well placed blows, it would keep him from doing something rash to his supposed fiance. He was a man, he would be able to take it.
His head snapped back to her and he gave a hard tug on the paper, hoping to take it from her hands before she could tear it or something. He would hold her hand and make her write each and every letter of her name if he had to. "Look what you did! You're getting us kicked out of your own fucking job because you're being a bitch. Sign the goddamn papers and I'll leave!" He could pick her up and toss her if he wanted to and the longer they stood there the more he wanted to do just that.
People were beginning to get up and leave the bar, skirting around the couple as if they expected one of them to explode into a murderous rage at any moment. Mateo should have known that she was going to make this so difficult. He had been all for this war only a day or so ago and now he was ready to go out and start marching around with those whiny ass protesters that seemed to be just about everywhere. He had wanted to get married, to get a wife and have a kid and be the head of a true family. Now, with this woman his nice little fantasy was being destroyed. She was obviously crazy and a complete bitch. This was not the person he wanted to be with and she was sure as hell not the type of person he wanted mothering his child.
