For a second all Mateo could do was stare at her, stare down at her really. This small, sweet looking girl was that crazy woman who had pestered him with childish insults and dirty words? She was not what he had been expecting at all.
The longer he looked at her, the more the words she had left on his journal began to swim around his mind and his irritation came back full force, growing even. His eyes narrowed as he glared down at her. All thoughts of her being even a little bit pretty flew from his mind, the only thing his eyes able to see is her rapidly darkening expression and the flaming anger in her eyes. He could feel the muscles in his face tense and he knew his expression probably reflected he's.
"Are you then?" he fairly hissed. "I brought the papers for you to sign." He pulled them out from where they had been tucked underneath his arm, extending them towards her. The grip he held on the other end was tight enough to wrinkle the crisp, cream colored paper. All she had to do was take them, sign her name and swipe her ring, and they'd be done. He would leave and it would be all over. He wouldn't be having to bite his tongue from letting all the expletives he had been thinking of all during the car ride from slipping out. They were in mixed company after all. Okay, he didn't really care but he wanted her to get this over with and calling her a bitch a thousand times over would not help.
