Who: Brenda and Tea
Where: Downtown
When: Backdated
What: Brenda needs some dresses
Status: incomplete
Brenda was going shopping. Dress shopping. Jorge would be laughing his ass off before telling her to not be ridiculous and get back to work. As for Thomas and Newt? They had no idea what she was doing. She had waited until they’d been distracted by something then slipped out. She was counting on them assuming that she was out scavenging again.
It wouldn’t be far from wrong since she had to be clever to fund this endeavor. Brenda had checked the price of some of those dresses she’d seen and knew she would have to pick her mark carefully. There. Some guy in a suit talking on his phone. He was already bumping into people rudely. This would be easy. Brenda slipped out onto the sidewalk, and purposely put herself on his direct path. Just as planned, he bumped into her and Brenda’s nimble fingers relieved him of his wallet.
“Self important prick,” she muttered as she pocketed the wallet and kept walking. A few blocks later she checked her plunder. She pulled out what amounted to a little less than five hundred dollars, then pitched the wallet into a mailbox. If she was lucky, she’d have some cash left over to buy some food for the guys. For now, she headed for the rendezvous location Tea said they should meet.

A Princess was supposed to help the people of the land and Tea was just the right person to help this girl find a dress. Her style had evolved over the years, turning her into a girl that wore grunge clothes into a girl that put together outfits filled with race and class. She had to keep up appearances, after all. She felt like it really fit who she was now too. That Tea who first showed up in Freedomtown all those years ago was just a glimmer in the past now.
She stood waiting at the meeting spot wearing a sundress with a pair of heels and her hair flowing along her shoulders in soft curls. It was a fitting outfit for this kind of weather. She was chatting with her bodyguard, Laura, was she waited but their conversation halted when she saw Brenda coming towards them. “I can work with this” She decided, giving her a look over as she walked closer towards her. “It’s nice to meet you in person” She told her when she stopped in front of her.

Brenda's brows lifted a little as she got scrutinized. What would have happened if Tea decided she couldn't work with this? Would Brenda have been sent packing? Did it really matter? Not really. Brenda would have just tossed the whole idea and bought clothes she'd be comfortable with. Things being the way they were, Brenda just rubbed her hand nervously on her pant leg and pulled up a smile.
"Same," she said then her eyes went to the other woman. "I didn't know we would have company."
