I'm not gonna lie. I'm having a rough go of it right now.

I miss my mom. I feel so helpless without her around. Sobo was like an older sister who always looked out for me. And Alisha... she'd been my ride-or-die bestie pretty much since I could first talk. And to make it worse, Daddy hasn't spoken to me once since Mom left. I don't think he's spoken to anyone. He's just... locked alone in his workshop.

I'm so grateful to Juliet and Sawyer for letting me stay with them for a while... and I feel so bad for putting Ellie through having to see Sad!Kat... but I don't know what to do.

I left my lab earlier today and went looking for Adora to get her to help me test the durability of the parts I'd made and...Glimmer told me she was gone. She says she reminded me but I don't remember her telling me anything about the others being taken.

Catra did come into my lab really upset about something a few days ago.

I'm actually not at home. I'm staying with Ellie and her family until someone can figure out if my dad's totally broken-in-the-brain or not.

I know. And I know how shitty it comes off, especially to people like you who've lost SO much more.

But I feel so lost without mom and dad. And then to lose the first person I'd normally vent to with them...

It's allowed hon. I was very much reliant on my parents. I was so broken when they died. And honestly... I know that the gem taking someone away isn't much different.

I've made some casseroles for your dad, so he has food to eat. That's one of the things people who are suffering stop doing is eating. Would you take them to him? I don't want to disturb him.
