Charles, Lauren and Reed

Lauren, I wanted to give you a report about Reed. Nothing Charles or I tried to do didn't work. We finally had to knock him out. He's resting comfortably. He shouldn't sleep too long. He's going to be fine, but I'm not sure we can help him.

I was thinking of reaching out to Liz Ortecho. It would mean someone doing research on your father's DNA. Not something many mutants comfortable with. So I wanted to be sure before I did.

We actually went through something similar to that at home. We worked with a laboratory looking to "cure" all mutants under the pretense that they were trying to help us.

I'm hoping going to Liz won't be like that but I won't go to her if it makes you or your father uncomfortable. We could always try again with the way we were going.

I'm going to reach out to her for Reed and Lauren. It is our responsibility to make sure Reed is safe with us doing this.
