Charles, Lauren and Reed

Lauren, I wanted to give you a report about Reed. Nothing Charles or I tried to do didn't work. We finally had to knock him out. He's resting comfortably. He shouldn't sleep too long. He's going to be fine, but I'm not sure we can help him.

Unfortunately, I'm not really surprised. Had Grandfather never given my dad the inhibitor to begin with, he could have trained properly from the start. In our family, we all have potentially destructive abilities. I think his built up over the decades.

We think that it was the inhibitor he was given that might be what's making his powers unstable. We might have to go about helping him in another way. If you're both okay with it.

I was thinking of reaching out to Liz Ortecho. It would mean someone doing research on your father's DNA. Not something many mutants comfortable with. So I wanted to be sure before I did.

We actually went through something similar to that at home. We worked with a laboratory looking to "cure" all mutants under the pretense that they were trying to help us.
