Maybe everyone will like my cooking enough that I'll do it more often," he said playfully, grabbing for the pot of pasta and walking over to the sink, draining it through the colander that he already had set up in it. "There are worse things to do when you're feeling happy," he said, looking over his shoulder at her and smiling before setting the now empty pot aside, leaning over to turn off the stove as well.
He reached for a plate, making her a helping of noodles with sauce on top, then a couple of meatballs and grabbing two pieces of garlic bread. He brought them over and set them in front of Sookie at the table, leaning down and kissing the top of her head as he did so. "What do you want to drink?" he asked as he stood back up.
