I feel awful today. I thought I bested the morning sickness, but no, it came back with a fury. It was bad, Kate wasn't a pretty sight. I'm glad I have my appointment with Dr. Burke. I've been taking my prenatal vitamins as instructed.

My family really watches over me and I feel so loved.


Those of you who watched Idol Tuesday, I have to compliment my friend, Cathy, who is a back up dancer.

You make me want to dance. You were magical.

Yes, my hormones are kicking in.

No, I'll be fine. I can finally get out of the bathroom and lie down on the bed instead of a cold tile floor. I just didn't think it could be this bad. I don't have anything left to throw up.

I'm just being a baby.

Thank goodness. Jake is home, yes? So just rest and let him take care of you all for a bit. You are not being a baby. Everyone is entitled to be a baby sometimes.

I feel like I have known you all my life. Cathy used to read me stories and it always mentioned best friends, and she told me what best friends do together in school. But I never experienced it until now. It is greater than I imagined.

I have the song walking on sunshine rolling around in my heard. For the first time I feel truly alive. I guess that's what having a little miracle in your belly feels like.
