Who: Noah and Zoe
What: He needs help
Where: His place
When Tomorrow
Warning: Trigger warning for anxiety and stress related talk.

With Whitney and Karolina out of the house, Noah was at home with his two little ones. Normally he would be a pro at handling this but with everything on his plate he was slowly falling apart.

There was only so much a guy could handle and Noah Guerin was toe to toe with his limit. Within a month and two weeks he'd lost both his wife and his mother and now he was trying to be a father to his three kids and his three siblings while their father was MIA. It was a good thing he was still on his paternity leave or he would be even more frazzled than he already was.

At the moment, he was quite frazzled. One month old Avery was on playmat crying up a storm while Noah sat beside him with his head in his hands and two year old Nevaeh trying to get his attention. It was a scene to behold and one that anyone outside could hear because the front door of the house had been left ajar.

It was much like every afternoon. Zoe had gone into work for a little while to help where she could. It had been weird to stay the night at Noah's house. At least she didn't have to worry about being late for work. The train got her into Genovia in less than a minute.

She was walking in when she saw Noah sitting with the crying baby next to him and the restless toddler. It had taken her attention off the fact that the front door had been left open with monsters and killers out. "Oh, Avery," she said as she walked over and picked him up. Trying to soothe him to help quiet the living room for Noah.

"Are you okay?" she asked worried over her friend.

Noah hadn't meant to leave the door ajar, of course. It had not been shut the whole way when they came back in from playing outside and he had not noticed. He usually wasn't that careless but things like that slipped his mind when he had as he did at any given moment that day.

He didn't even know Zoe had come in until he heard her voice because he'd been so out of it for who knows how long. Lifting is head up, he was finally able to take in the scene that was going on in front of him. "Oh God. What did I do?" Or not do? "Daddy's so sorry" He told the toddler as she pulled her to him for a cuddle.

"No" He admitted to Zoe, unable to hide it anymore. Every since his post a few weeks ago he'd been trying to be okay but he wasn't. He was not okay and he had it finally admit it.

"You didn't do anything Noah. They're fine," If not a little upset from lack of attention. Nothing that would harm them long term. It was the dad that Zoe was worried about right then. He had left the door open. She could only imagine what could have happened. Nevaeh could have wandered out or something could have come in.

Although Avery could do with a change. She didn't feel like pointing that out at this moment. Reaching down to grab the diaper bag. "You've been handling a lot," she set Avery on the couch and started to change his diaper.
