Oliver didn't like the thought of someone having this much power. He wasn't the type that was easy to kidnap, so whomever was behind this clearly knew what they were doing. And on top of them having him they had Laurel, and he hated that thought. She was the one person that shouldn't be caught up in something like this. She had been through way too much already. She needed a nice normal...and safe life. He also couldn't figure out why someone would take so many people. Not knowing drove him crazy. How could he protect Laurel if he wasn't prepared? He knew it was up to him. Laurel could handle herself in a fight one on one...hell maybe even a few more, but this was something like neither of them had ever seen before. The two of them would just have to stick together. If he were honest that was something he had been wanting all along. He wanted to be with her....where she was. She was one of the few things in his life that was still good....and pure. She was the one he would give up everything for. With those thoughts in his mind he went out to look for her. He had told her to meet him at the park. From here they could go anywhere they wanted....preferably somewhere private, so they could actually talk this out. He also had some things he needed to tell her. There was more she didn't know...his feelings for her being at the top of the list. She needed to know that he still wanted her...thought about her. She had the right to know that every single woman he had been with since her was merely a way to keep her off his mind. When he made it to the park he looked around until he spotted her. "Laurel...." he said, before rushing over to where she was standing. As soon as he was close enough to her he pulled her into a hug, not bothering with words. |
