"I promise I'll tell him," Julie told the petite blonde solemnly. "If you can come visit me maybe you'd be able to tell him yourself, I think he'd want to know you're at peace with yourself."
Still, though, Hannah came up with the strangest things and Julie couldn't help smirking at her friend. "Ketchup packet squirt-offs? Hannah Flynn they broke the mold when they made you, don't ever change."
At Hannah's reluctant question, Julie glanced down at the fuel nozzle shoved into the proper spot in her truck. The latch had come undone, which meant the tank was topped off, and a quick check of the island revealed a tiny sliver of paper flapping in the breeze. Julie took the receipt and shoved it into her pocket, then returned her attention to Hannah.
"I dunno...would it be breaking the rules if I asked you to ride shotgun for a while?" The werewolf asked hopefully. Hannah had given her the information she needed to know, but Julie didn't want their little reunion to end. "I miss you."
Julia Sanchez had more than a few bones to pick with the Powers That Be, but number one on that list had to be what they'd done to Hannah Jean Flynn.
