There really wasn't much she could say. But she listened to Severus's words. He had a good point. Well a bunch of them. And now having gotten the space she so desperately needed she was ready to go back. She felt like she could take on the whole world, or village as it was. She'd be who she wanted to be. Damn the lot to hell. She was her own person.
And the list of whose opinions mattered to her was very short indeed. But she did consider adding a few new names to the list.
"I can say something back right?" She said with a small smirk. "I mean. I am not going to be everyone's doormat. But I won't do anything to harm anyone. I promise, okay Severus?" She asked, looking for his approval.
Because Severus was on her very short list.
"I think I may go and live in the castle if I can. I think I'd feel less out of place there. You know, then living with my future brother in law. That's kind of awkward and weird. I don't even like Rodolphus. I wouldn't touch him to scratch him. It's bizarre. But Rab is alright. He's not awful or anything. But it's still weird. You know?"
