“I’m not supposed to.” Tracey countered slightly, when he mentioned not realizing that she’d liked drawing. “It’s childish, and has no practical application in the adult world.” She nodded a bit. The words were clearly not her own, likely parroted from her mother from a young age. It was more like a guilty pleasure that Tracey kept for when she had nothing else to do.
“I’m supposed to eat less carbs. And less fried, greasy foods like chips. Mum said that’s why I gained weight when I started school, it was because I ate too much, and I was eating bad foods that young ladies shouldn’t eat because it makes them ugly.” Tracey told him, once again picking at the sandwich.
