Severus nodded. It would be good to talk to Narcissa - but the Narcissa he'd met when she first arrived, not the one who was the same age as the Bellatrix he was trying to figure out.
"Well. That's more insight than I had before, so thank you."
Their drinks were all but gone and Severus rose.
"This round is mine, then I'll have to call it a night. I'll be right back."
At the bar, he bought two Cognacs, remember that Lucius used to like the more expensive stuff. The offering the village had available was quite good. He returned with the drinks and slid back into his seat.
"So - what else do you want to know? Or have you to tell me? I feel as though I haven't seen you in years. You've been quite tactful, but you needn't fear asking me about the war. I'm dead there; nothing there can cause me any harm anymore."
