Severus could almost hear Lucius's thoughts. His had run much the same way when he first set out to spend money in this environment. Fortunately, he'd eventually found that his fears were groundless. Thus far, there hadn't been anything he'd wished to acquire that he hadn't been able to do so. Granted, his tastes weren't expensive, but he had managed to upgrade his wardrobe, get a professional haircut and so on.
"There's a whole slew of interesting people here. Just now I have no idea their relative ages and time of reference. An unbelievable line of Weasleys, most of whom are tolerable, three generations of Potters, the eldest of which needs to take a long walk off a short pier, we have Walden Macnair at about seventeen years of age, Bellatrix likewise. "All the Founders are here. Salazar actually hosted me at his home one evening for drinks and conversation."
Severus lifted his whiskey in toast and took a healthy swig of it.
"What are you looking for by way of 'interesting'?"
