A smirk spread across Lucius' face as a dark figure came into view. He knew instantly that it was Severus from the way he walked, and the familiarity of it filled him with an odd sort of relief. Severus had aged fairly well, especially considering all that Lucius had been told about his life post 1988. In fact, if anything, he looked healthier than ever. His time in the village had clearly served him well.
"An interesting opener, as always Severus," he met his companion's hand with his own, giving it a firm shake, "I'm not entirely sure what to say to that, but it's a pleasure to see you, at last..." Lucius smirked again, taking a final drag of his cigarette before throwing it into a sand bucket (which he presumed to be a makeshift ashtray, not that anyone in this wretched place seemed to smoke).
"I've not had a chance to scout the place, I suppose we shall just have to brace it together." Lucius gestured to the door, taking the lead just as he usually did with Severus, although underneath his confidence was terribly shaken. "Shall we?"
