WHO Godric Gryffindor and Salazar Slytherin.
WHERE & WHEN The castle then forest?, super early this morning, before anyone else in the castle is awake.
WHAT These two are badly behaved children around each other as adults. It's infinitely worse now that they're teenagers...
RATING TBD.
He awoke with a start. And for a minute he didn't realize that something was off - until the sleep blurring his vision cleared and he found himself staring up at a stone ceiling and laying on a very comfortable bed. Except it wasn't his bed, because his bed was currently a hammock. And it also currently wasn't half way to freezing.
Moving slowly, so as not to make any noise that might alert his captors that he'd woken up, he reached across his side -- but didn't feel his sword. He shot up in the bed then, and found nothing. Last night he had slept with the sword of his dead brother at his side, and this morning as he sat here, it was gone. With another swift motion he was standing in the center of the room. The drapes were red and gold and a fine rug lay beneath the bed far larger than any miserable pile of cloth he had ever slept on before. He peered out of the glass window and saw a village sitting far below in the valley; the castle must have been set in the mountains and --
"Morrigan!" he whispered tersely. His sister! They must have taken his sister too! He'd taught her everything he knew, he was confident she could fight, but he couldn't see her and the full focus of his heightened senses and nerves now shifted to finding her.
Stepping soundlessly off the rug and across the stone floor past the ashes of a fire, Godric listened again before pushing open the heavy wooden door. A large sword, nearly half his height, sitting beside the bed caught his attention: It was a thing of beauty like he'd never seen before, with huge rubies set in the hilt and a flawless blade. Something was written on the side of it, but he couldn't focus enough to remember letters and the sounds they made. Whoever the sword belonged to, they must not need it very much if they left it in this room with him.
He grabbed the sword and hitched it where he normally kept Tilian's, then rifled through the rest of the chamber, flinging a stranger's belongings all about the place. Godric slipped two of the larger daggers into his pockets and nicked a hunting knife from the bedside table. He unsheathed the blade and almost made it back out the door when one last thing caught his eye - a wand. He and his sister were kidnapped by fellow wizards? That thought didn't sit right with him and his gut didn't agree, but he pocketed the wand and gave the room a final good look-over. A bow and sack of arrows hung on the wall, and he grabbed those too.
With the hunting knife gripped tightly in his hand, Godric quickly crossed the long hallway until he found a set of stairs. He was nearly at a run by now, jumping off the end of the staircase at the fourth step from the bottom, and -- he thought he heard someone else nearby. Godric readied the bow and arrow and crept towards the entrance to what looked like a great hall. He peered around a large stone column, ready to shoot.
