For most of his life Kingsley had been looking forward to going to school. As part of this, he had accepted that he would be away from his family for periods of time, and so he felt prepared for it, at least for now. As time stretched by, longer than a term, he might feel differently, but as it was he did not feel sorry for himself and it would not occur to him to do so, or that Hannah would.
Kingsley grinned at the mention of the Founders.
"It's pretty cool," he admitted. "I think in some ways it's more significant for the children who have been at school for a while and lived in the Hogwarts houses, and in the castle, but I had read about the Founders before I arrived, so it's still exciting. I like them a lot. They are so wise and kind and all good teachers."
