It had only been a few hours since she had seen him but it had felt like an eternity. One that had been made infinitely longer with the possibility that she wouldn't get the chance to see her husband again for who knows how long but then here he was... He was real and he was there. Fleur held onto him tightly for a moment taking in the comfort of his presence that was until she felt his body go rigid under her embrace.
"Bill?" Releasing him, Fleur recoiled back a bit and let her eyes studying his every detail in the moonlight. Her eyes wanting to find the familiar Bill's own eyes. It had to be him, didn't it. "What is going on," Fleur asked him in her accented English, uncertainty swarming over her again.
While she tried to keep her composure she doubted her usual fronts and acts would fool Bill, he knew her too well. Her tiny slight shuffling of her feet and the absent habit of twisting her wedding band around her finger betrayed the uncertainty and even fear that she felt. Still she stood there and waited for some explanation.
