Teddy had taken to wondering around the village when he was bored, which frankly was all the time these days. Teddy could adjust to change, yes, but this was a huge change. His wife--- his long time best friend and constant companion was gone, had been gone for a few weeks now and it was taking time to get over the heavy, painful loneliness that had been left in her place. Now, he was attempting to find hobbies and activities to fill the void (work wasn’t really filling his days as he’d hoped it would, given the tiny, peaceful nature of the town so far), which had led to exploring the new parts of the recently enlarged town. He was lost in his thoughts, admiring the new pieces, and almost didn’t notice when a few pages of paper blew his way.
As he stooped to pick them up, he could tell that they were drawings of people, but had been largely unable to make out their erotic nature until he’d held them more firmly in his hands and began to look at them. If he were a more easily embarrassed person, he would have turned red, instead he chuckled to himself and began looking for someone that they could have possibly belonged too. There was a shimmer of red hair in the distance as he spotted a woman in the distance, Amelia he was certain her name was though he didn’t think he’d talked to her much in the past so he couldn’t be sure.
“Excuse me?” He called to her as he walked over. She seemed to be lost in her own world, drawing as he came closer. He suddenly didn’t know how to ask her if the pictures belonged to her, what if they didn’t and she thought he was some weird guy who tried to peddle pornography drawings in a public park? “Um… are you missing any pictures?”
