Who: Theodore and Amelia What: Theo has something to show Amelia. Where: Amelia's cottage When: Monday (4th of June) afternoon.
The other day, Theodore had noticed the forest had sprung up. So, bored as he was, he went there at night time with his wand illuminated. It was a nice looking forest, with undertones of the one at Hogwarts but it reminded him a bit of the one surrounding his family home, it wasn't anything like Lockewood though, which he was glad for. The forest was rather small from the outside but once he was inside it there was plenty of room to move around.
He'd heard them before he saw them.
A small snuffling and whimpering noise alerted him first, which took him about three minutes to discover the source. Curled underneath several arched tree roots were three newborn black wolf cubs shivering and curled up tightly against each other. They looked just like Theo's dogs at home and the heartstrings that usually remained dormant and tough as steel were plucked.
He draped his traveller cloak over them and scouted around the forest, looking for their parents, but he only found a few deer, rabbits and various other woodland safe creatures. It was like his three dogs had been sent back here in cub form. He couldn't find their parents, though, so he gently gathered up his cloak with the three cubs inside and took them home.
Which brought us to the present day, where Theodore had left the two slightly bigger ones at his home, curled up in another of his jackets and gnawing each on a little bit of gristle he'd swiped from work, and the tinier one that he could tell was the younger, inside the jacket he was wearing. The cubs had taken to him instantly, which wasn't surprising because Theodore was very good with dogs, and wolves were a cousin to the dogs, really.
Theodore knocked on Amelia's door, the slight bulge inside his jacket visible and twitching every now and again. The tiny cub was sleeping for now.
