Leaning into Rolf just a little, Luna laughed lightly. "Well, now we don't have to miss each other." She smiled. "He's turned a bit maternal, then? That's sweet." She meant it, word for word and not in any condescending or demeaning way.
She smiled her thanks when the food arrived. She broke the crust of the potpie to let the heat out before replacing her fork with a spoon. She would eat dessert first. Because she was an adult, and she could do that.
She took a bite then offered the spoon to Rolf. "Always room for dessert," she insisted, grinning.
