"Nothing wrong with Muggles," George said, though he didn't think he would marry one, if only for the fact that his life and business was so tied up in the magical world. Of course, if he did meet a Muggle girl and things did get to that point, it wasn't like he couldn't make some more Muggle-friendly products, but still -- his life was bound to the magical world. And this village. He didn't think it was possible to get Muggles here. "Kids make things a bit more complicated, speaking from experience." He shrugged. "But thanks, Cho. Who knows. Maybe I'll take you up on that."
There were some things he didn't want to talk to anyone about. But maybe someone who wasn't deeply involved with it all like Alicia and Angelina and Fred were, would be better to talk to every now and again.
When Cho talked about taking whatever she could get with Cedric, George had to chuckle. "Well, I'll tell you what I keep telling myself. It sticks, most days. I've decided that this place is my home now. And sometimes I feel like a coward making that choice, because I don't want to face what's back home. I don't want to spend my life there wondering what if, when I have the power to answer those questions here and now. The point of all that rubbish I just spewed out, mate, is that here you can work to make your life what you want it to be -- so long as those it involves are willing, I suppose, but that's an aside." He offered a warm smile there. He and Cho apparently had a lot more in common than he would have ever thought back home.
