The expression on Gellert's face almost appeared sympathetic but he only nodded his agreement. "My own occupation is quite similar. And while I can destroy things as part of that occupation from time to time, it is still less then a spectacular option." He raised his eyebrows at the boy's remark about waiting for his Master to arrive while inwardly hoping that the other dark wizard remained somewhere that was not there, as he had enough problems to deal with without adding lesser competition such as crazy half-blood dark wizards with a chip on his shoulder.
"You could count me as a friend," Gellert offered. "It might not assist in your process of getting settled in here because of my fantastic reputation, so I would not be surprised if you said no. The offer remains on the table."
