"I am certain you would have," he agreed, hearing how the sadness in the boy's voice mingled with the pride. He had to wonder how such a deranged individual inspired such loyalty in people; perhaps there was something that he was missing, but he was not certain of that fact. He had done his fair share of killing since ascending to power in Europe but he had never considered himself to be exceptionally homicidal, at least not on the scale that the future dark wizard seemed to be. The maniac had killed anybody who was of lesser blood, a hypocritical move in the eyes of Gellert because of the other dark wizard also being of lesser blood; he had never killed anybody based on their blood purity level. His own reasoning had always possessed a sense of purpose.
"What will you do here?" he asked, after a few moments of silence.
