Barty nodded slowly. It was true that had done all he could to make himself useful. The last thing he wanted was for his three teachers to decide he was a liability. All he had wanted was to know what had happened, to know his Master was still alive and to bring him back. He knew if he was one of the loyal followers who brought him back that the rewards would be great... but mostly, he just missed him. Barty was not a lunatic, he knew Voldemort was not his father.
