The boy jumped, as if startled, and Gellert wondered if he had been too quiet while approaching. The gravelly sand under his boots made some noise but apparently not enough, and he stopped before invading the boy's personal space with his approach. His striking blue eyes could not help but pick up the curiosity on Crouch's face, and a grin crossed over his lips quickly when the boy offered a respectful bow.
"A pleasure," he replied, offering a hand out. "And, please, call me Gellert. Sir makes me sound decidedly old, and I am not that yet."
