Terry knew exactly what he was doing as he used his wand to have the soup float in smoothly and then carried the sandwiches by hand just to take more time as Rosie and Peter talked about dragons. He was grinned with a knowing happiness, glad that Rosie was warming up enough to talk about her dragons... and that Peter wasn't just standing there awkwardly. Because he knew that little kids could be hard to deal with, but Terry was banking on the fact that Rosie was his kid, and Peter cared about Terry. He walked in after a moment, the food on the table and still nice and hot as he joined them on the couch, letting Rosie stay in the middle.
"Wanna got show Peter where to wash his hands for dinner?" Terry asked, his eyes flicking up to Peter for a moment before returning his attention to Rosie. "You can show him your dragon towel in the bathroom if you want," he suggested, standing up to go with them, even though he'd washed his hands in the kitchen already.
