Never in his least wildest dreams did Gellert ever imagine that he would be relegated to something as horrible as grocery shopping. The house remained in need of some important essentials, though, and he had to contribute. He did not possess the opinion that Arthur was expected to do all of it, even with the general view that the village had of him. After what had seemed like the longest day ever, work was finally over and Gellert left as quickly as he could manage, heading across the street to the grocery store. The short walk refreshed him and the air still held a degree of warmth to it, so he didn't need a heavy jacket. Instead, he was wearing a grey button-up shirt with the first few undone, his black jeans and boots with that ever-present, favourite black leather jacket over the shirt. Once inside the grocery store, Gellert grabbed a basket and walked around slowly, picking up things that he needed as he browsed each aisle. His mind briefly dwelled on what he wanted for dinner, something that Arthur might enjoy as well, and picked up the necessary ingredients for that. When he was done, Gellert made his way over to the checkout area slowly, stopping now and then to browse a bit longer; upon actually coming in sight of the checkout, Gellert noticed a familiar figure there and a grin lit up his face slowly. "Well, well. Fancy meeting you here," he commented, setting the basket on the counter as his piercing blue eyes focused on Peter. |
