“Gummy bears are green.” Bill said off-handedly as he pieced together his other cookie. He knew what she meant of course, and he knew that his comment wouldn’t likely fly, but it was still worth trying. He grinned at her though.
“It’s a little weird. But I like it. You can come play outside with me, and I don’t have to worry about you being busy with the baby, and we can just play games and do stuff without all the babies and stuff.” He shrugged his shoulders a little bit. He didn’t mind being an older brother, he actually liked Charlie, but he would definitely take to being an only child, or as much as he was now.
