"Aw, thank you," she said brightly, taking the cider from him as well as the water. Let's be honest, she'd drink both and then go to the bathroom 8 times in the next half an hour. It was a new found tradition in her book.
Taking a sip of the cider, she shook her head and waved a free hand at him as though he was being silly. "I rest plenty, I promise. But I'm also in the... what do they call it? Nesting stage? AKA I run around cleaning and setting up and cooking all day like nobodies business. It really is no bother at all, and you know we both love your company, after all," she told him with a bright smile.
"But really, how are things going with you? Aside from this fabulous party, has life been treating you okay? Anything extra interesting happening you'd like to share with your mate Amelia?" Waggling her eyebrows at him, she couldn't help but chuckle a bit at herself. She was probably being ridiculous, but it felt like forever since her and Draco had really talked. It was probably her fault. Since finding out about the baby she had let a lot of things go, but that didn't mean she wasn't interested in returning to how things used to be.
