Peter cautiously put an arm around her waist to steady her and led her to the office, depositing her carefully on the somewhat worn-down sofa that occupied a corner of the little room. He'd been known to take naps there occasionally, and probably so had everyone who had occupied it before him. You couldn't lie down flat on it but it was good if you just wanted to curl up and shut your eyes for a few minutes.
"Maybe," he said, not wanting to make any promises he wouldn't be able to keep. "I think probably you should look after yourself first. No offence but that nose looks nasty."
