Aberforth's frustrations ground to a halt with the burst of strange automated music from the opposite end of the aisle paired with the amused laughter that followed. Tearing his eyes away from the glossy packaging of the coffee makers that seemed utterly impossible to figure out, he looked over at the woman who had joined him. She was looking down at a strange handheld device that seemed to be emitting the music and ... glowing? ... yes, glowing up at her. Aberforth didn't know what to make of that either. It was like something out of one of the science fiction radio plays they broadcast sometimes and he peered over at it for a moment longer, squinting his eyes to try to better make out what it was before giving up and turning back to the coffee makers once more. It wasn't his business anyway. He had to suppress a smile when she realized he was there though. He hadn't minded her delight over whatever the device was, but she appeared somewhat embarrassed for one reason or another. Perhaps because it was muggle in nature? Aberforth was used to that. People often looked to him funny because he rarely, if ever, used his own wand.
He held himself a bit straighter when she moved on to look at the same items he was, wary of anyone in his personal space even after all he had been through - or maybe because of it. When she began to speak with him, his eyes flicked over to her. Of course, what really caught his attention was her use of his name. No one had known his name right from the start and it gave him pause. "Yes?" he replied, keeping his face carefully neutral as he turned to face her. "I'm afraid I do not know you." Though it was clear she knew him and he did not like that she had that advantage though she did not look very threatening. She'd just been laughing over what appeared to be a toy. How threatening could she be? "I've just recently arrived." he added after another moment.
