These days, Cissa had alway been a little skeptical about answering her door. It wasn’t that she was afraid that anyone would physically hurt her, because she knew she was quicker with a wand than most people anticipated (especially lately), but she was just so tired of arguing. It was one of the reasons she’d made herself so sparse on the journals, and the reason she’d mostly kept to her own.
She hadn’t expected company, and Rabastan knew well enough to simply come in when he was dropping by, so she couldn’t help but look confused as she made her way over. Even more when she heard her sister’s voice on the other side. Narcissa sighed, she wanted to believe that this would go well and that she would have her sister back to her, but Narcissa had been through too much in the village to allow herself to get her hopes up.
“Hello, Bellatrix.” She greeted with a soft smile, pulling open the door. “It’s lovely to see you.” Her eyes scanned the road just beyond her sister to see if her sister had brought company, “Does Rodolphus know you’re here?”
