Lea had told herself, via those letters she'd left with Greg and Draco, that there was a third one, and it was in the hands of Peter Pettigrew. She didn't understand why. Her younger self hadn't really left any clues or information that told her why she trusted something like that to a man who made her skin crawl. He wasn't as evil as her brother had been, but he was one of the major players in bringing the Dark Lord back, in pulling her into that mess at the school. So he hadn't actually spoken to her, and he didn't do any of the pushing, but if he hadn't brought him back..
Lea sighed and pulled the baked spaghetti out of the oven. The cheese was nice and molten, and she slid the buttered garlic bread in to toast. She had to not think about that past. She told herself that Peter was a friend, and to trust him. If she couldn't trust herself, who could she trust? She remembered how she was at 18-19, especially right after the battle. She didn't trust anyone, so he must have done something to get her to, and she felt she owed him a chance to show her why and how.
A few moments of straightening and pulling and setting, and the kitchen was put to rights, and the table presented dinner. There was enough for Greg later, when he got home from work, or left overs if he ate at Mike's. The dog was outside. Everything was ready. Now all she had to do was wait. She hated waiting.
