"Six children. That is a lot." Gellert's voice held no negativity when he said that, though, as he did not have anything against children in general. Some children were aggravating on his nerves but he was quite certain that Guy's children were not like that. As for himself, he had just never considered having one of his own, even for a moment. It was not something that he ever saw happening to him, because he never held down a relationship for long before he destroyed it cause of his need to manipulate the people in his life. "They have you as a father, I am certain that they were raised impeccably."
"Exactly," Gellert answered, the grin on his lips still. "I will not search for approval from any for such a venture, regardless if they think I should do so. The land beyond the village and its surrounds is untouched, untamed, and belongs to no one. I will do what I wish and I would love to see them attempt to stop me." He let out a short laugh. "It is hard to believe that the people here are that deluded, in thinking that I will ever atone for the things I have done."
He let out an unimpressed sound before taking a sip of his tea. "I am proud of what I have done and I will never apologise for any of it, even for what I do in the future - according to their history books - and what I have not done but have been blamed for anyway."
