Rodolphus had prepared dinner and left the clean up for Bellatrix. He wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not but she needed to get used to it eventually. In fact, she needed all the practice she could get if she was ever going to try to blend in by attempting the insulting job they'd given her. He couldn't help but wonder if it had been a punishment of sorts. At least his assigned occupation was bearable. Therefore he'd figured it was best to simply get out of her way so he'd headed to his room where he could peruse his journal and read over what others were doing.
Just as he was about to go check on her progress the door flew open, he was thrown back against the wall and she was off again. "Bloody fucking hell," he winced against the pain as he reached for his wand and pulled himself up. Determined that she was not going to get the best of him he made his way to the door and waited for the inevitable follow up hex he knew she would throw. He then jumped quickly to the top of the stairs where his own spell caught her just as she reached the last step.
